FUNmath has been a program partner since 2004 and subscribes software content that improves the academic performance of youth from pre K through college. FUNmath is a disguised learning application that allows uses to create individual users to create personal accounts to learn in an environment that is not competitive.
Hungry Red Planet a partner since 2003 provides software programs that educate students about proper nutrition and the development of healthy eating habits. The software and curriculum meet state framework. The software combines a non-violent simulation with sequences requiring students to create meals from a database of hundreds of real food products.
The software was created through a unique collaboration of a leading public health education expert-- Dr. Michael Anderson-- and interactive gaming experts, under grants from the National Institutes for Health. It has been extensively evaluated with students in the target age group, and qualitative and quantitative test results confirm the effectiveness of the curriculum.
