The Magic Johnson Foundation celebrates the spirit of the holiday season by hosting an annual toy drive and holiday party at select AMC Magic Johnson Theatres.
Approximately 500 underserved youth or children affected by HIV/AIDS are cordially invited to bring in the holidays by engaging in a fun-filled day of arts & crafts, delicious food, a holiday movie, gift bags, holiday carols and a visit from Santa Claus. Each child is made to feel special and welcome the holidays by participating in a celebration just for them.
The Magic Johnson Foundation continues the holiday spirit year-round by committing to improve the quality of life for people residing in urban communities. It is nationally recognized as a leading nonprofit organization focusing on raising awareness of social concerns that threaten underserved communities. The Foundation fosters progress and development of educational opportunities, social and economic conditions, health awareness and ways to prepare youth for new technologies in the information age.
