The Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program

Students chosen for this scholarship demonstrate a strong potential for academic achievement but face socio-economic conditions that hinder them from reaching their full potential. Because of our commitment to youth and education, our scholarship program is far more than a financial contribution. We are dedicated to mentoring our recipients throughout their undergraduate career. Students accepted into the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program also benefit from the following:

Financial Support – Scholarship is for 4 years and ranges between $3,000 to $5,000

Mentorship – Through a volunteer pool of dedicated professionals, students have access to mentors who are committed to serving as positive reinforcement and as a role model throughout their college careers.

Internship –Students have the opportunity to intern with a vast number of corporations that support the internship program as well as MJF by offering paid internship positions.

Laptop Support – Through various technology partnerships, MJF provides each freshman with a laptop.

Test Prep Classes – Scholars who have an interest in attending graduate school qualify to take preparation classes at a significantly discounted rate. Through our partnership with the Princeton Review prep courses assist our scholars in receiving favorable results from the following tests: GMAT, LSAT, MCAT & GRE.

Life Skills Leadership Conference – Our annual conference is designed to help motivate, support, empower and enhance the development and success of our students through their college experience. The conference consists of a variety of effective workshops and speakers hosted by our corporate partners and supporters.
