In partnership with Abbot, the "I Stand with Magic" program, a part of the "Campaign to End Black AIDS" was announced December 1, 2006. Since its launch, the "I Stand with Magic" program has provided free HIV/AIDS testing, awareness and educational programs to more than 130,000 Americans in 16 cities with large African-American populations. The campaign's emphasis is on African-American and other minority communities where new HIV infections are on the rise.
In January 2008, Aetna and Magic Johnson Enterprises formed a new partnership designed to empower businesses and ethnically diverse communities to make informed choices about their health care options. Aetna supports MJF’s social efforts by sponsoring our Kids Mardi Gras event.
AHF has been an avid supporter of MJF’s HIV Initiative for 10 years.  Due to this commitment, MJF is able to bring education and prevention through HIV testing as well as linkages to care. Through this partnership, MJF is able to provide lifesaving care and services to over 2,000 individuals living with HIV/AIDS via five AHF Magic Johnson clinics--services that included more than 10,153 clinic visits in 2010.
American Airlines – AA has been a longtime supporter of the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program. AA has provided airline travel to our students during our leadership conference for many years in addition to providing operating support to the Foundation.
Bank of America supports MJF’s core programs and fundraising efforts through both volunteerism and financial support. Bank of America recently joined MJF by walking in the 1st ever CA Aids Walk. They go above and beyond by supporting our social efforts.
Magic Johnson Enterprises entered into a multi-year relationship with Best Buy Co., Inc in February 2008. Through this strategic relationship, Best Buy has also partnered with the Magic Johnson Foundation by supporting the scholarship program, annual holiday party and most recently our community empowerment centers. Best Buy will install insignia brand items in the centers, enhance current technology connectivity and promote volunteerism at the CEC’s within the Best Buy retail stores.
Denny’s—Denny’s restaurants is a great supporter of the Taylor Michaels Scholarship
FedEx has gone above and beyond in their support. The organization has supported MJF in its entirety not just through financial contributions but through their volunteerism efforts. FedEx has taken in active role in the following: Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program, Leadership Conference: Training & Development, our Community Empowerment Centers and annual Holiday party.
Microsoft has been a supporter of the magic Johnson Foundation Community Empowerment Centers over the last 7 years. Microsoft has awarded software in excess of 2 million dollars which include the core suite and the previous Magic School Bus series for youth. Microsoft has also supported the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program.
Nestle has been a longtime supporter of MJF’s core programs and fundraising efforts. Most recently the organization joined forces with the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program and All Star Weekend fundraising events.
Starbucks -- Starbucks has taken an active role and has been a longtime supporter of the Magic Johnson Foundation through its Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program.
Toyota – Because of Toyota’s commitment to education they have provided core programmatic support in helping to launch our College Access Initiative through its Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program. Program. Denny’s support allowed for 10 new scholarship recipients.
Union Bank has supported MJF’s programmatic efforts around education for many years.
Wells Fargo is a longtime supporter of MJF’s core programs and fundraising efforts over the years. Most recently the organization joined forces with the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program to provide additional scholarships and resources to underserved students
Verizon is a new partner of the Magic Johnson Foundation. Verizon supports our Magic of Reading program at our Community Empowerment Centers in addition to providing support for MJF’s special event initiatives.
