It's not often that you tear up while reading the program for an organization's fundraiser. But flipping through the 82-page glossy compendium for the Palos Verdes chapter of The Links Inc. Legacy Luncheon, it was hard not to catch the spirit.
From a poignant greeting by president Brenda Montgomery Williams to heartfelt ads aimed at generous sponsors and members, there was a lot of love going on. Honorees included Kawanna Brown, Chief Operating Officer for Magic Johnson Enterprises and Towalame Austin, President for the Magic Johnson Foundation.
